We’re a friendly bunch of woodcarvers and like to think our camaraderie is second to none. All members benefit greatly from the exchange of ideas and encouragement between like-minded people. We all enjoy woodcarving and talking about woodcarving and learning from one another. 

 

Woodcarving is both challenging and rewarding and can be a very mindful activity. In a busy world, taking time to discover the carving hidden inside the wood is a joy and a wonderful way of expressing your creativity.

 

There is a range of experience and expertise amongst our members and our more experienced members are very willing to share their expertise to help you get started, including advice on tools and wood.

 

We have excellent second-hand tools available to buy at very reasonable prices together with other items for sale, including wood. New members can also borrow tools and a vice for free, against a returnable deposit.
